Troubleshooting Electrodag

Electrodag is a paintable graphite medium that you can use as a conductor of the glass for the copper.

While it is a nifty way to easily ready you piece, it has a few drawbacks.
1.  It can easily rub off - especially before it goes in the plating bath. The older the Electrodag, the more likely it will come off.
2. It doesn't stick to the surface of the glass - this is particularly true if  you have polished the glass. Electrodag adheres best to a rougn surface. If you lightly sandblast the sections of glass prior to apply electrodag, it will stick better.

Electrodag does dry out with time. Remember to keep you jar closed tightly.
